Planning the Prototypes

My prototyping will more than likely be covering the music, the story, and the aesthetics of both characters and environment. The reason behind me selecting these to present for public constructive critique is because I believe them to be the most important, specifically the sound and story. I have already begun to work on a storyboard which follows the shot list posted previously.

Prototype for November 9th:
I hope to have a concrete, explained fully and technically literate storyboard. This storyboard would span the full five minutes and put the ideas I have been playing with down on paper for others to actually grasp what the thesis project will be. Ideally, at least a preliminary script would also be at least referred to later in the next prototype.

Prototype(s) for November 16th:
Ideally, I would like to have completed a preliminary script and have concept art for all environments and characters. The reason why I want to have these things completed by the 16th is because that would allow me to fully focus on the sound design, music, and narration. The options I have for sound design and narration is what is evident in this video series or me actually voice acting all character lines. I have the most experience in creating artwork for characters, which means I will be experimenting with camera angles, different environments and how the sound and art will be mixing together in the production process.

Prototypes for November 30th:
By this point I should have both a solid script and storyboard so that I can directly produce music based on those scenes and sentiments behind words. For the music, I will be researching far more into both film noir and cyberpunk/sci-fi movie/tv scores. I will then take that research and combine them together to make some kind of futuristic film noir music score of what will more than likely equate to three pieces of music or at least three different leitmotifs (themes).
