My prototypes will explore questions of aesthetics, including the story, character design, and concept art. I believe that these are the most important aspects of my project. Without a solid story or visual aesthetic, my project would not be as effective.

By this point, I will have a script outline as well as multiple designs for the robot character. These character designs will include sketches as well as concept art. The script outline will lay out what the story is about as well as what is happening in each scene.

I would like to have a completed first draft of the script as well as storyboards for the 5-10 minute short film. Having a script and storyboard available for others to critique will be useful for others to get a better picture of the story that I am trying to tell. The constructive criticism that I receive will be beneficial as I work on the final draft of my script.

At this point, I would ideally have a completed final draft of my script as well as a shot list. I would also like to have an animatic of my film, complete with music and sound design. I will design the sound myself through foley as well as edit and mix it in either Pro Tools or Adobe Audition.
